The breakfast was filling and varied daily, which we appreciated. Elevators were slow and often crowded, making waits frustrating.

Great location near Michigan Ave with spacious suites and full kitchen. Elevators were frustratingly slow during peak times.

Ideal choice for a hurried visit in Chicago with good value considering price it charged. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Exceptional location. The convenience of nearby restaurants, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods cannot be overstated. The staff surpassed my expectations; friendly and responsive, especially during breakfast chaos. Surprisingly diverse breakfast options were refreshing, though a larger dining area would be beneficial — it gets quite crowded. The fitness and pool facilities are currently closed, disappointing but manageable given the urban landscape invites walking. The room, while spacious and clean, has soundproofing issues. A note for those seeking privacy, the layout requires access through the bedroom to the bathroom. Room cleanliness wasn't consistent; dust lingered in corners. An opportunity for improvement exists there. Staff should uphold higher cleaning standards.

Customer service was top-notch, with friendly staff eager to help. The view from our room was fantastic, and having kitchenware made our stay convenient. Valet parking was pricey but flexible, which was appreciated. Breakfast was hot, a great perk for our toddlers. the sofa bed was a disaster; my teen barely slept with its worn-out state. Compounded with only one working elevator, it made for long waits during busy breakfast hours.

The staff, especially Jason, were amazing and really helped us out when my daughter had an allergic reaction. The hotel is super centrally located, which made it easy to explore and find great restaurants nearby.
The sofa bed in our room was old and uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on springs. The breakfast didn't quite meet our expectations, as we missed some European continental breakfast items like croissants and ham.

Homewood Suites in River North offers a fantastic location near diverse dining options and just a short walk from the train station. The kitchenette was well-equipped for leftovers, and the fast check-in process made settling in a breeze. Great views from the corner room enhanced our experience!

The staff is super friendly and really makes you feel welcome. Breakfast is hot, fresh, and served with a side of smiles every morning!
The elevator was out of service. Yikes!

The pool has been closed for renovation for two whole years! We picked this hotel specifically for the swimming facilities, only to be let down. They really should update online photos—it's misleading and frustrating for families looking forward to a swim.

Absolutely loved the convenient location! The staff, especially Kay, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The kitchenette was a game changer for our long visit, and the indoor pool added extra fun to our days!

Great location and friendly staff. Expensive parking and room had a persistent odor.

I loved being just two blocks off the Magnificent Mile, giving me quick access to countless restaurants and shops, plus it was within an easy walk to iconic spots like Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and the Art Institute of Chicago, which made my weekend strolls absolutely delightful; the room was comfortable, and having a kitchenette allowed me to enjoy leftovers from the many nearby eateries like Portillo's and Due's pizza, but the check-in process could be improved for a smoother experience.

The room was spacious and had a well-equipped kitchenette, which was a big plus for our family. The bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was less than ideal without a proper mattress. Once we requested a foam topper, it became more usable. Noise levels fluctuated, especially with the window left open, but maintenance was prompt in fixing it. The bathroom offered decent space, though it needed better cleanliness as we noticed dust and hair in spots. Breakfast options exceeded expectations, making mornings enjoyable despite minor inconveniences.

The breakfast had tasty options, and the staff was friendly during morning hours. The workout area and pool on the upper floors were great for keeping the kids entertained.
It wasn't cheap, but considering the amenities, it felt well worth it.

Our family had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Navy Pier for some sailing adventures. The location was perfect for families, with plenty of activities for kids during the vibrant summer months.
My wife says that the bedroom was too small for our family, and she wished for more spacious accommodations for families with children.

I enjoyed the classy late check, out option, perfect for my hectic schedule. The free daily breakfast was a lifesaver for this high, maintenance gal. The gym had a nice view, perfect for pretending to work out.
Loved the stained blankets and exposed foam in my room , a real treat! .

During my recent stay at Homewood Suites, I found the ironing facilities in the room to be quite handy. It was convenient to quickly touch up my clothes before heading out for the day. The heating and air conditioning worked well to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, which I appreciated. One thing I particularly enjoyed was the tea and coffee facilities in the room. It was nice to have a hot cup of coffee in the mornings without having to go down to the lobby. The sitting area in the room was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the city. On the downside, I did notice that the curtains in the room were a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. the housekeeping could pay more attention to detail as I found some dust on the baseboards and TV table. It would have been nice to have more thorough cleaning during my stay. I also encountered issues with the valet parking service during busy times. The wait for the valet to retrieve my car was longer than expected, which was a bit inconvenient.

My friends and I had a blast staying here while exploring Navy Pier and hitting up the cool boat tours in the area. The staff was super chill and had our backs, especially when our mini-fridge decided to take a vacay too. The location was wicked convenient for all our city escapades!
Wish there was a groovy rooftop bar for us youngins to hang out and vibe after a day of exploring.

we've stayed at homewood suites in the past and thought we would give this river north location a try. so glad we did! ! amazing location, recently redone so everything is fresh. we got an upgrade with my husband’s status, so we had a 1 bedroom suite. nice sized kitchenette, great breakfast and i understand the evening is great. ideal for a budget conscious family wanting to stay “downtown. ” location was good, everything was clean, kitchen has a small stove and everything you need, staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good they have good waffles, pool was great and we had a nice view, and all this for a very reasonable price ? ?
Could not be improved in any way 😞
